Today I farewelled the aforementioned Feliz dress. It hung on the wall for a few days, so that I could admire my work. Plus I just had to make up a little something for the new baby of the house before I could post the package.
So without further ado...
I was so pleased at how the back of the dress came out. I love the ruffles, and I love the bias I made from the coordinating stripe fabric. I also used the stripe fabric for the button loops and covered buttons. I hope the girl who receives this dress loves it as much as I loved making it. Oh dear, there is a lotta love!
Moo, of course, has insisted that I must make her one just like it. She may well get one similar, but not exactly like this one.

Soooooooo beautiful! And I love the matching sandals :)
Gorgeous! And I think the bias makes the dress, it really adds some life to those ruffles! I have to get cracking on my feliz, fingers crossed it comes out half this well!
even her shoes match! You are amazing Sara, such a beautiful dress.
Oh that is devine!
What a lovely colour combo - and what a shame to give it away - I do hope that you are going to make Mollie one - it suits her
