Raining rainbows

all over my cutting table.
riotous rainbows

Half of these babies have been sent off to their homes. The others will be leaving soon which is good because I really need to hack into this fabric.

It's been destined for a Muriel for ages. My friend, Tas, just made one for her princess and now I really want to make one for Moo.

ooh, what a pretty picture!!

And you'll love the Muriel in cord, it was a favorite dress around here until it got too short to be decent.

I could just sit and look at that pile of rainbows for hours! I love those cord co-ordinates. That will be one awesome pinny. Thanks for the nod.

Since I saw your wonderful Redondo in Nancy's book I am absolutely in love with those twirling pieces of rainbow! I would like to have one for my dauther, too. I fear, this idea will bring me to a dying session out in the garden this summer... more stuff to give a place to... ;)

Muriel is my favorite Farbenmix-pattern - it fits like a glove to my daughter! The wonderful cordurys are simply perfect for the pattern! I am very corious how it will turn out!

A big thank you for your wonderful ideas!

Look at those rainbow lovelies!

I've been meaning to come by your place for ages and was reminded when Tas sent me a link to something you wrote about sewing with knits. So hello!

That cord looks amazing, I will be back to see how it turns out.
Have a lovely weekend!

I'm so glad you're going to make that Muriel now - I remember you telling me about it and for some reason it stuck in my head.....so I've been waiting for this dress to come to life lol :)

I just popped over to say hello after seeing the divine skirts you made for Karen's girls. That pile of rainbows is looking gorgeous too. Congratulations on such fabulous skirts.

Hi Judith. I would have sent you email, but your email address isn't in blogger. I have dyed that fabric, so you can't get in a shop. If you had something in mind, I might be able to make it for you. Thank you for your lovely comment.
