I just noticed that I took this photo just over a year ago. And now her top is getting too small.
Being the nice mum that I am I offered to make her a new top. She wanted another velour on the front, so she rummaged through the velour stash and chose this sweet white fairy. I picked the fabrics, Chez Ami knits front and back and Hilco woven for the binding.
I wanted to take a photo of her wearing the top, but it's just been way too hot to venture outside. Thankfully today we had a cool change. 20 degree Celsius, BLISS!

Nice top Sara, and hey what is with all the crazy weather?
Do you follow the superbowl?
Gorgeous top Sara, love the fabrics!
Cute top and good choice from Moo.
The weather is just crazy: in the morning you can't go out because you get baked and in the evening you need a jacket.
Thanks Clo, Uta & Peta!
Clo, I don't follow American football at all. I think it's daft. It's too slow for my liking. I actually like Australian Rules Footy. :)
I thought you had to follow american Football, like its the law ;-)
Go Aussie rules! however I have no idea about how that game works grew up a rugby girl at heart. Then soccer as an adult.
I love the fabric combos. It looks lovely. (And I don't envy you that heatwave)
Very cute. I've been thinking about getting this pattern because of the racer-type back - my oldest has narrow shoulders and I think this would fit her better. She's known as the weed around here.
